There is a bug in Golden Arrow that prevents data created after loading a file, then clicking ‘New’. This bug was fixed as of version 5.0.9.3

In reports there are certain types of reports that do not show group order options: Personal Bests Summary by Archer Records Summary Handicap Improvement These reports are fixed format and do not support grouping of output.
Click backup on the program main menu. Select backup and choose a backup location. The default location is on the program directory but alternative locations can be chosen including removable media like USB sticks portable drives CD/DVD. Network locations can also be used.
New classification tables were issued in March 2014 which changed the score boundaries for Short Metric. As a result for Gentlemen Recurve you caot now achieve better than 3rd Class. The tables made quite a lot of changes particularly for juniors.

To restore a backup select Backup > Restore and select the backup you want to restore. If the file is not in the default location click “Restore from a different location” to open a file dialog. Restoring data destroys any data already entered.
The database update that runs with each new version has not run or completed. Close Golden Records, and restart the program while holding down the Shift key. A repair utility will launch. Click ‘Update Database’ and let the update complete. Close the utility and re-launch Golden Records.
Looking in the Handicaps or Classifications tables there are more than one entry for archers the tables do not appear to show the latest value only. This is by design. Bad or erroneous data in file being restored. Resolved as of 3.0.9
Under ArcheryGB rules MB or GMB classifications can only be obtained at tournaments of Record Status or similiar standing. Golden Records will not return an MB or GMB classification unless the Record Status box is ticked.

There was a problem with changing the competitor selected in Golden Arrow. This caused an “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” error when the selection changed. The problem has been resolved in 5.0.9.5 released on 09/11/2014.
