When ruing Golden Records the first time you may get an error message like this: Unhandled Exception: Could not load file or assembly ‘System.Data.SqlServerCe, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91’ or one of its dependencies. Goilden Records v3.1.1 has been released. This resolves a problem with dates on computers with USA regional settings and also resolves an issue with conversion of rounds and classes from V2 to V3.

Although Golden Arrow and Golden Records will check for updates each time they are started, not all updates are “advertised” to the software. it is worth checking on the website to see if a newer version is available.
If you have an earlier version of Golden Arrow or Golden Records you can now upgrade your existing serial code to a new code for the current version online at http://www.archery-software.co.uk/upgrades/

The program has not been able to locate the database file. Check it is in the expected location. The default location is C:\Program Files\Toxik Software\Golden Records 2\Database, unless you changed the location in settings.
