Could not load file or assembly ‘System.Data.SqlServerCe

When ruing Golden Records the first time you may get an error message like this: Unhandled Exception: Could not load file or assembly ‘System.Data.SqlServerCe, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91’ or one of its dependencies. The system caot find the file specified. System.IO.FileNotFoundException Solution Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition has failed to install. Try installing Golden Records again

Version 3.0.11 of Golden Records has been released today. This makes some performance improvements and deals with missing handicaps and classifications. It also picks up some problems with visibility of categories following a recent update.Users should upgrade to this version to be sure of capturing all handicap and classification changes. Unhandled Exception: The database file caot be found. Check the path to the database. [ Data Source =……..

The program has not been able to locate the database file.  Check it is in the expected location.  The default location is C:\Program Files\Toxik Software\Golden Records 2\Database, unless you changed the location in settings. To relink the database launch the program while holding down the Shift key.  A repair utility will open.  Click ‘Relink Database’

Version 3 of Golden Records has been released today. The new version incorporates a number of enhancements and has been largely rebuilt with new controls.There is a new reporting engine giving more control over output and style to the user. I apologise for the delay, testing and debugging the new version of Golden Records has taken longer than expected. Finally light at the end of the tuel can be seen and I can now commit to a release date. Golden Records 3 will be released on 14 November 2013. A pre-release (beta) version is available
