Golden Records Online and Desktop have both been updated for the new Archery GB handicap and classification scheme.For more details of the changes visit https://archery-records.net/scheme_changesAs set out in the Archery GB Change Over Procedures there is no carry over from Outdoor 2022 except for MB and GMB classifications. All archers unless qualified as MB or GMB in Outdoor 2022 will start 2023 without a handicap or classification and will obtain a handicap and/or classification once sufficient rounds have been shot.New features in Golden Records include optionally selecting to calculate senior classifications (eg Men/Women) in addition to age restricted classifications (eg Women U16/Men 50+). Similarly, an option now exists to calculate club records on the same basis so that a Junior archer shooting a sufficiently high score can hold both a junior and senior record.It is also now possible to upload your own handicap tables for club rounds. A calculator is available at https://archerycalculator.co.uk/ to generate handicap tables for any round. For those interested the science behind the new tables is at https://archerygeekery.co.uk/. Neither of these sites are related to Toxik Software. Any problems raise a ticket in the usual way.
